Standard U-94 Push-to-Talk for Baofeng Multipin (UV9R) radios. Connector: UV-9R waterproof screw-lock multi-pin. NOT the same as the standard Baofeng/Kenwood K1 2-pin.

Please verify your radio connector visually before ordering. This PTT is designed for Baofeng Multipin (UV9R) style interfaces.

UV-9R vs Standard Baofeng

This PTT is for the waterproof screw-lock connector on UV-9R series only.
Standard Baofeng UV-5R/UV-82/BF-888S use the K1 Kenwood 2-pin — order the Kenwood 2-Pin version instead.

Headset Compatibility

Compatible with tactical headsets using the standard U-174/U downlead.

Impedance Matching

Dynamic Mics (Low Impedance): Standard for military headsets — Ops-Core AMP, 3M Peltor COMTAC, MSA Sordin. These require amplification in the PTT circuit.
Electret Mics (High Impedance): Standard for civilian headsets, Earmor, Howard Leight, and most earpieces. No amplification required.
