Intelligent Architecture

Constant Able™ PTT
Motorola Multi-Pin (M3)

The most capable, broadly compatible Push-to-Talk for two-way radios on the market. Developed with SRT and SWAT operators to tackle the toughest interoperability challenges.

Auto-Sensing

The Intelligence Core

Push-to-talks aren’t just an accessory—they’re the core of comms. The Constant Able uses embedded proprietary algorithms to decide, rewire, and adjust gain within 100ms.

Microphone Support
  • Dynamic (Low Impedance / Mil-Spec)
  • Electret (High Impedance / Civilian)
  • 150 Ohm Variants
Wiring Handling
  • US NATO Standard
  • Peltor Wired (EU Standard)
  • No switches. No reprogramming.

Radio Interface: Motorola Multi-Pin (GP/HT)

Compatible with the legacy Motorola Multi-Pin format commonly found on HT and GP series radios.

Compatible Models:
  • GP Series (GP328, GP338, GP340)
  • HT Series (HT750, HT1250, HT1550)
  • Ailunce / Retevis (HD1, RT29)

Proven Compatibility

Field-proven with professional comms gear:

Peltor Comtac II–VIII Ops-Core AMP MSA Sordin OTTO NoizeBarrier N•Ear 360

Connectors: U-174/U (NATO J11) or U-384 (Dual Comm Split Audio*) — If your headset downlead has red rings, you will require the TP-105 O-ring.

Mission Specs

  • Zero batteries required
  • 🌊 IP67 Sealed (Waterproof/Dustproof)
  • 🛡️ Integrated hot mic shroud
  • 🔄 Rotating ambidextrous clip
  • 🇺🇸 Buy American Act Compliant
Compatibility Note

DISCUS pairing: DISCUS requires a dynamic (low-impedance) microphone. You can run DISCUS in-line with Constant Able when the headset mic is dynamic. If your headset uses an electret or amplified boom mic, use Constant Able alone — DISCUS will not drive those mics.

If the downlead on your headset has red rings, you will require the TP-105 O-ring as an addition to this PTT. Red rings typically indicate the U-384 (Dual Comm Split Audio*) configuration.

Compatible radios (EX / GP328+ Multipin)

Built for the EX / GP328+ Multipin accessory interface used on these manufacturer radio models:

  • EX500
  • EX600
  • GP328 Plus
  • GP338 Plus
  • HD1
  • RT29

Platform names: EX multipin, GP328 Plus.

Constant Able PTT with auto impedance sensing for dynamic and electret headsets. No batteries required. Match by physical plug and radio model—not third-party chart codes alone.
