Intelligent Architecture
The most capable, broadly compatible Push-to-Talk for two-way radios on the market. Developed with SRT and SWAT operators to tackle the toughest interoperability challenges.
Auto-Sensing
The Intelligence Core
Push-to-talks aren’t just an accessory—they’re the core of comms. The Constant Able uses embedded proprietary algorithms to decide, rewire, and adjust gain within 100ms.

Compatibility Note
DISCUS pairing: DISCUS requires a dynamic (low-impedance) microphone. You can run DISCUS in-line with Constant Able when the headset mic is dynamic. If your headset uses an electret or amplified boom mic, use Constant Able alone — DISCUS will not drive those mics.
If the downlead on your headset has red rings, you will require the TP-105 O-ring as an addition to this PTT. Red rings typically indicate the U-384 (Dual Comm Split Audio*) configuration.
Mission Add-ons
Looking for the legacy option? The U-94/A Kenwood 2-Pin provides basic push-to-talk without auto-sensing — available in dynamic or electret variants.
Note for 2-Pin Users
While the majority of radio platforms provide VCC (accessory power), the Constant Able is specifically engineered for universal interoperability. For 2-pin radios lacking a dedicated VCC line, the internal Flux Board utilizes a self-sustaining power-harvesting mode. This system safely draws microscopic amounts of energy to maintain premium audio routing and automatic sensing without external power sources.
Maintenance: To support this ultra-low maintenance design, if left disconnected for over 40 days, simply plug the unit into a powered-on radio for 6 to 10 minutes - to replenish the reserves and resume flawless operation.
