Intelligent Architecture
Constant Able™ PTT
Hytera 13-Pin (H4)
The most capable, broadly compatible Push-to-Talk for two-way radios on the market. Developed with SRT and SWAT operators to tackle the toughest interoperability challenges.
Auto-Sensing
The Intelligence Core
Push-to-talks aren’t just an accessory—they’re the core of comms. The Constant Able uses embedded proprietary algorithms to decide, rewire, and adjust gain within 100ms.

Radio Interface: Hytera 13-Pin (H4)
Direct-connect 13-pin interface for Hytera PD and HP series portables.
Compatible Models:
-
PD6 Series (PD600, PD602, PD662, PD680, PD685)
-
X1 Series (X1p, X1e)
-
HP Series (HP602, HP682)
- TD560
H3 vs H4: Hytera uses two different multi-pin connectors. The H4 (13-pin) fits the PD6xx/X1/HP series above. If your radio is a PD7xx, PD982, or PT580, you need the H3 (16-pin Hytera) connector instead.
Proven Compatibility
Field-proven with professional comms gear:
Peltor Comtac II–VIII Ops-Core AMP MSA Sordin OTTO NoizeBarrier N•Ear 360
Connectors: U-174/U (NATO J11) or U-384 (Dual Comm Split Audio*) — If your headset downlead has red rings, you will require the TP-105 O-ring.

Compatibility Note
DISCUS pairing: DISCUS requires a dynamic (low-impedance) microphone. You can run DISCUS in-line with Constant Able when the headset mic is dynamic. If your headset uses an electret or amplified boom mic, use Constant Able alone — DISCUS will not drive those mics.
If the downlead on your headset has red rings, you will require the TP-105 O-ring as an addition to this PTT. Red rings typically indicate the U-384 (Dual Comm Split Audio*) configuration.
Mission Add-ons
Looking for the legacy option? The U-94/A Hytera H4 provides basic push-to-talk without auto-sensing — available in dynamic or electret variants.
