Gas Mask Adapter (DGMA)
Routes PTT audio through your gas mask's internal microphone, bypassing the headset boom mic. Enables clear voice transmission in CBRN and riot control environments without removing protective equipment.
How It Works
The DGMA inserts between your PTT and headset. The U-174/U (NATO) end plugs into your PTT, while the U-173/U (ECP) end connects to your gas mask's Electronic Communications Port. When keyed, audio routes through the mask's internal microphone instead of the headset boom mic — the headset mic is automatically bypassed.
This means you maintain full hearing protection and comms capability while masked. The headset continues to receive audio normally; only the transmit path is redirected through the mask.
