Radio Interface: Motorola GCAI (APX/XPR)

Standard U-94 Push-to-Talk for Motorola GCAI (APX/XPR) radios. Connector: M9 GCAI (Generic Connector Accessory Interface). The standard PTT for law enforcement agencies running APX-series P25 portables.

Headset Compatibility

Compatible with tactical headsets using the standard U-174/U downlead.

Impedance Matching

Dynamic Mics (Low Impedance): Standard for military headsets — Ops-Core AMP, 3M Peltor COMTAC, MSA Sordin. These require amplification in the PTT circuit.
Electret Mics (High Impedance): Standard for civilian headsets, Earmor, Howard Leight, and most earpieces. No amplification required.
