TP-105 to TP-101 O-Ring Adapter Pack

Solves the physical connector length mismatch between 5-conductor TP-105 headset plugs and PTT jacks designed for 4-conductor TP-101 plugs. Pack of four mil-spec oil-resistant O-rings.

The Problem

The TP-105 (U-384/U) plug is 0.14 inches longer than the standard TP-101 (U-174/U) plug due to its 5th conductor for dual-channel/stereo audio. This extra length prevents proper seating in PTT jacks designed for the shorter TP-101, causing intermittent connections, poor audio, or complete signal loss.

Headsets that use TP-105 plugs include Peltor COMTAC XPI (dual-comm), stereo aviation headsets, and other dual-channel tactical headsets with separate left/right audio channels.

The Solution

These mil-spec O-rings slip over the TP-105 plug shaft to create a precise standoff spacer, allowing the longer plug to seat at the correct depth in TP-101 jacks. The result is a secure, reliable connection with full audio continuity.
