Constant Able™ PTT – Motorola APX (M11)

The Most Capable, Broadly Compatible Push-to-Talk for Two-Way Radios on the Market

Developed in collaboration with tactical law enforcement teams—including SRT and SWAT operators—and shaped by the insight and lessons learned as communicators in combat, Constant Able was purpose-built to tackle the toughest interoperability and interference challenges in the field.

Push-to-talks aren’t an accessory—they’re the core of what we do. Constant Able delivers unmatched compatibility, rugged simplicity, and bulletproof performance in the field. From headset to radio, it just works.

Constant Able automatically detects PELTOR or NATO-style wiring and supports both high and low impedance microphones, including electret and dynamic (150 ohm) variants—no switches, no setup, no reprogramming. It has been field-proven with a wide range of professional communications gear including PELTOR COMTAC II–VIII, XPI, Ops-Core AMP, TCI/Safariland, MSA Sordin, aviation-style headsets, as well as discreet earpieces like the N•Ear 360 Flexo and Invisio M3.

COMPATIBLE WITH HEADSET AND EARPIECE PLUGS:

  • U-174/U (NATO J11)
  • U-384 (DUAL COMM SPLIT AUDIO*)

Broad compatibility with tactical headsets, earpieces, and accessories using any combination of plug type, wiring convention, and microphone impedance described above.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Attach the Constant Able PTT to your compatible Motorola two-way radio. Plug your headset or earpiece into the headset port using a supported connector (U-174/U or U-384 via adapter). When you press the button on the Constant Able—protected inside an integrated hot mic shroud—your radio transmits. You speak and listen through your headset with clean, reliable audio.

Whether you’re switching gear mid-mission or managing a mixed headset inventory, Constant Able auto-configures in real time—automatically and instantly.
