3M PELTOR Left Side Boom Harness
FL6AF — NATO Wiring
Wiring harness that converts a PELTOR ComTac Hearing Defender into a communications-enabled headset. Mounts a boom microphone to the left earcup and provides NATO-wired connectivity for use with an in-line push-to-talk adapter and two-way radio.
What This Does
🔧Defender → Comms Conversion — Adds the internal wiring necessary to support a boom microphone and PTT downlead on ComTac Hearing Defender headsets (headsets sold without communications capability).
🎤Left Earcup Mounting — Positions the boom microphone on the left side. The mic itself can be oriented for left or right use.
🔌NATO Wiring — Standard NATO wiring format for compatibility with DISCO32 Constant Able push-to-talk adapters and other NATO-wired PTTs.
What You Still Need
1️⃣Boom Microphone — The harness provides wiring only. You need a compatible boom mic: MT33-05R for ComTac III/V Defenders or MT73/1 for ComTac VI+ Defenders.
2️⃣Push-To-Talk Adapter — A NATO-wired PTT matched to your radio. DISCO32 Constant Able PTTs are recommended for maximum compatibility.
